Is Hope Enough?

"If your situation doesn’t change anytime soon, can your hope in Jesus be enough to hold you?..."

There was an old school song that goes “my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name.” If your situation doesn’t change anytime soon, can your hope in Jesus be enough to hold you?

So many times we are looking for something outside of us to give us hope. We’re always asking Him to show signs that He’s working on our situation or our issue, but is His presence living inside of us not enough? The promises He has made. And our testimony of times in the past when He has shown Himself faith, is He not hope enough? Or maybe a better question is why is He not hope enough for us?
